Office Move
Southport Not Just For Open Golf
– Now Home to P&C
AS SOME of you may or may not be aware P&C Communications Ltd
have been developing a new home for our business to operate from but also our
customers to come and visit us. The premises originally was a Victorian House
with multiple rooms, large windows, high ceilings, Attic for servant quarters
and basement. During the latter years the premises has been owned by the NHS as
its adjacent to the Old Southport Royal Infirmary (which is now being demolished)
and then by a Salvage company.
The layout of the building had been changed many times over the years to cater for
each of the requirements, which lastly had seen living quarters on the 1st floor
and office premises on the ground floor. This layout didn't obviously meet our
business requirements so numerous changes including the removal of walls, new stairs
and the upgrading of electrical and telecoms supplies have been undertaken.
The floor plan (below) of the Ground Floor and 1st Floor consists of:–
1. A large meeting room on the ground floor with the latest facilities and
interactive white boards so we can provide better meeting and training facilities
to our customers.
2. A laboratory area again on the Ground Floor so that we can work with customers
and partners to build and test network in a safe environment but also to provide
hands on training to understand the infrastructures you have installed by us.
3. Kitchen and dining area but also access out into the back of the building so
there is the option to have a break and a breath of the sea air in Southport.
4. We will be making available free Internet access to our visitors so that they
can connect into the office and check mail etc if required.
5. Upstairs is very much office space for employees but we will be incorporating
the latest solutions in voice and data that we provide to our customers.
We chose Southport as its not much further from our original location in Ormskirk,
has beautiful Victorian homes with character that lend themselves for development
as completed by P&C Communications Ltd.
The railway station is well connected to Preston, Manchester and Liverpool easily
accessible off the M58 (7 miles further than Ormskirk)
The town centre is being invested in with the development of two luxury new
hotels:
We look forward to seeing you at our new office for meetings and using the
facilities we have in place.
