Whether your change relates to your network infrastructure, your network security, your telecoms provider, or a mixture, P&C Communications can provide project management either on a consultancy basis or as part of a P&C managed service.

Project management is tailored according to need, but there is some commonality across the board. As a minimum you can expect us to:

Divide the project into manageable segments
Assess your requirements regarding interruption
Negotiate scheduling with suppliers and providers
Assess the risks to the project budget and schedule

Develop a project plan with a reasonable level of contingency
Guide the progress of the project and provide progress updates
Progress chase providers and suppliers
Take the project through to delivery and close down with the minimum of fuss

When required, large projects are managed using PRINCE2 methodology.

If there is a risk of conflicting technologies, our standard practice is to build a trial of the installation (in our laboratory when technically feasible) and test the solution until certainty is assured.
